Poll Shows Nationwide Support for Gay Marriage

MSBNC has reported that, according to the latest Washington Post/ABC poll, more Americans say they support gay marriage (49%) than oppose it (46%). This is the first time that results have favored gay marriage in a nationwide survey, and it is surprising considering that in 2004 the Post/ABC poll found just 32% in favor.
