First of its Kind Lesbian Health Textbook Released

The Lesbian Health & Research Center (LHRC) at the University of California, San Francisco, has just released the first lesbian health textbook ever published: Lesbian Health 101 A Clinician’s Guide. Edited by LHRC Founding Co-Directors Sue Dibble and Patty Robertson and Published by UC Nursing Press, the book represents the cutting edge of what is known about lesbian health and also provides insight into women’s health in general.

The LHRC is dedicated to improving the health of lesbians, bisexual women, transgender people, and their families. To achieve this goal, they create comprehensive programs of research, education and trainings, public events and community collaborations.
